Established in May 2017 within SAFRA Tampines, I consider 7th Heaven KTV & Cafe to be; firstly a karaoke; secondly a bar and entertainment centre; and thirdly a cafe. This distinction is important, as it determines what I'll visit the multi-concept 7th Heaven KTV & Cafe for; primarily for singing karaoke; secondarily perhaps for drinks, live music, sporting matches or movies; and lastly since I'm already here, might as well get some decent finger food. But I wouldn't come just for the food though.
Ambience at 7th Heaven KTV & Cafe is spacious, comfortable, and suitable for large gatherings. The warmly lit place features ample wood and faux greenery, with an eclectic mix of modern minimalist furnishings, including high seats, booths, and dining tables. A wide lounge surrounds a stage; which is equipped to host bands performing live music, or screen sporting matches and movies via a large projector. The bar's well stocked shelves also serve as a visually appealing backdrop.
The karaoke rooms at 7th Heaven KTV & Cafe are modern, well-equipped, and comfortable. Fairly sound-proof, there is little to no sound leakage outside. The surround sound quality has decent depth, though the tonal balance leans towards bass, and the treble clarity seems slightly tizzy. Sufficient quality for casual, family / friends use. Wish the television screen was slightly larger, as the screen size is disproportionate to the spaciousness of the karaoke rooms. Controls are via an in-browser website, you'll have to use your mobile phones (remember to charge them). Intuitive user-interface with a good catalog of songs in several languages.
Service at 7th Heaven KTV & Cafe is casual and functional. Staff are friendly and polite, fairly efficient at fulfilling requests and orders. Engagement is mostly transactional, their briefings on equipment straightforward and clear. I note that sometimes you'll need to summon them with the call button, other times, they demonstrate proactiveness in checking on customers. They're quick to clear away empty / finished tables, keeping the place clean and presentable.
Food at 7th Heaven KTV & Cafe is mostly Western style cafe fare, the typical sort you get in most Singaporean cafes. Simple dishes with decent execution and taste; I'll eat it to fill the stomach, and it's passable, but I don't prefer it. Menu is kept small and focused. What I like though, are the range of drinks. Portions are medium to large for individuals. Prices are more affordable than most cafes, since you also get karaoke as part of the deal. Budget about SGD $20 per person here.

There is ample seating of various kinds here, neatly spaced within the warmly lit area. Perfect for hosting events, and suitable for lingering. There's only 1 snooker / pool table to share though.

The decent karaoke ambience and affordable room pricing are their strong points. What's great is that karaoke room prices can be either per pax or minimum spend of food and drinks. Quality of food is average, but the ingredients are fresh, portions are hearty, and prices are wallet-friendly enough that I can't really complain.

The Beer Asahi Super Dry (SGD $32 per jug) is a Japanese pale lager, brewed by Asahi Breweries in Tokyo, within the Kanto region of Japan. This bright, clear golden yellow brew has a tame aroma of hops, grass, corn, and apples, with a smooth, refreshing, medium body and medium carbonation. Taste is floral bitter sweet, with notes of wheat, rice, malted barley, and lemon citrus, with a super dry, crisp finish. Very drinkable.

The Soft Drinks (SGD $4.50 per glass, ala-carte / $Complimentary, only with set meal) are straightforward, and kind of the default drink here.

The Salad (SGD $Complimentary, only with set meal) was surprisingly good. Fresh, crunchy mesclun salad of baby spinach, arugula / wild rocket leaves, chard, lettuce, and cherry tomatoes, all coated in a lovely peanut and sesame sauce. Delicious vegetal sweet bitter nutty flavours, befitting of a premium standard. Good!

The Cream Of Mushroom Soup (SGD $6.90 ala-carte / $Complimentary, only with set meal) uses the canned version, except they've added bits of crouton bread to it. Alright as part of a set meal, what I like is the thick texture of the soup / broth - they did not dilute it, which is good.

The Pasta Prawn Linguine Aglio Olio (SGD $14.90, ala-carte / $15 as set meal) gives me mixed feelings. On one hand, I loved the fresh, juicy sweet prawns / shrimp, and the dry tossed gravy of olive oil, garlic, and fresh red chili. On the other hand, the linguine pasta noodles were soft in texture, and overly seasoned with salt. But the portion is really generous and filling. Could be better if it was less salty, and more balanced in taste.

The Pasta Spaghetti Carbonara (SGD $14.90, ala-carte / $15 as set meal) is served in a large, generous portion, so much I couldn't finish it. The spaghetti pasta noodles are soft with a slight chew, while the pieces of salty savoury pork belly bacon lend good depth of flavour. Nice ratio of cream sauce, which is properly rich and creamy thick. Lacks an egg though. Decent enough.

The Pizza Meat Lovers (SGD $12.90 small, ala-carte / $15 as set meal) features a thin, crisp edged pizza crust, garnished with tomato sauce, chicken salami, ham, bacon, chicken sausage, a trio of cheeses (mozzarella, parmesan, cheddar), a sunny side up egg, and katsuobushi / bonito fish flakes. Has a satisfiying savoury salty sweet eggy cheesy flavour. I like.

Loved the Ice Cream Earl Grey Tea (SGD $3 per scoop, ala-carte / $Complimentary, only with set meal), with its rich, creamy smooth texture, and bold earthy sweet flavours of earl grey tea. Surprised me, I expected a lower quality offering, but this is good enough that I would return and order it. Also a good choice to soothe the throat during karaoke. Highly recommended!

The Ice Cream Salted Caramel (SGD $3 per scoop, ala-carte / $Complimentary, only with set meal) has a rich, creamy smooth texture, and bold salty sweet flavours of salted caramel. Alright as a dessert.
