Introduction
Located about 30 minutes drive away from the Hobart international airport in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia, the Home In Brighton Hobart isn't a hotel, though it's listed on hotel booking sites. The Home In Brighton Hobart is actually an entire house, rather like an AirBnB short-term rental stay, a 3-bedroom 2-bathroom home that's cozy and fully equipped.
Ambience
Ambience at Home In Brighton Hobart is quiet and peaceful, as the plot of land it sits on is surrounded by 3 other privately-owned units. The area is a relatively quiet urban suburb, if not for the ongoing roadworks during our visit, which fortunately, was only during the day.
Room
Rooms at Home In Brighton Hobart are clean and comfortable, each of the 3-bedrooms having comfortable beds and large wardrobes. Each bed has an electric mattress warmer. The 2-bathrooms are clean, and I appreciate the powerful heating lamps. Sufficient toiletries and towels were provided.
Food
Food at Home In Brighton Hobart is non-existent, as it's a regular house. Fortunately, the kitchen and pantry is fully stocked with cooking utensils and condiments, enabling us to cook our own meals. The nearest eating places are in the nearby towns, which you'll have to drive to.
Service
Service at Home In Brighton Hobart is good. Host Thomas ensured the place was clean and well-stocked with amenities, and was responsive. Equipment within the house was functional, and we likewise ensured we cleaned the place before we left.
Facilities & Activities
The facilities and activities at Home In Brighton Hobart are decent. There's cable television and board games, as well as some light reading materials like magazines. The wi-fi was fast and stable, and the separate washer and dryer was most welcome. The Home In Brighton Hobart is among the best short-term rental stays I've experienced.

Introduction
Located about 30 minutes drive away from the Tullamarine international airport in Melbourne, Australia, the Mantra On Russell Melbourne is both a serviced apartment and 4-star hotel, offering dated but fully-equipped liveable spaces with the attractive perk of being conveniently located in the city centre. Mantra On Russell Melbourne offers a comfortable stay at good value.
Ambience
Ambience at Mantra On Russell Melbourne is dated, with minimal decor and shades of grey. Beyond this however, the high floors offer a good lookout over the city, and for the affordability, is an area we can overlook in favour of the value for money.
Room
Rooms at Mantra On Russell Melbourne are spacious and comfortable. We stayed at the 1-bedroom Studio Apartment, which has a comfortable bed, spacious working desk, and basic kitchenette for quick meals. The in-room wi-fi is fast and stable, while the bathroom is decently stocked with fresh amenities.
Food
Food at Mantra On Russell Melbourne is served at the Home Kitchen And Bar, quality of dishes was well-executed and delicious. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and it's worthwhile to make advance bookings. They also offer complimentary still and sparkling water outside the conference rooms, which is a plus.
Service
Service at Mantra On Russell Melbourne is friendly and accommodating. Staff were polite and very helpful in ensuring guests requests were fulfilled. Housekeeping is hardworking and efficient, cleaning up spaces thoroughly.
Facilities & Activities
The facilities and activities at Mantra On Russell Melbourne are adequate. The gymnasium is small but well-equipped, while the indoor heated pool was welcoming. There's a small sauna on-site, and massage parlours just adjacent. Meetings rooms are decently equipped. The best thing about Mantra On Russell Melbourne is their convenient location, within walking distance to a variety of shopping, entertainment, and dining options.
