1. Reunification Palace

The Reunification Palace, also known as the Independence Palace, is an iconic landmark in Ho Chi Minh. The Reunification Palace marks the site of the end of the Vietnam war and fall of Saigon, when a tank crashed through its gates. That tank still stands today on the grounds. Exhibits in the War Remnants Museum are very graphic, including scenes of chemical weapons usage, napalm bombing and war atrocities.
