Rocky's Pizza

Rocky's Pizza has been around for over 2 decades, quietly serving up simple pizzas and pastas. Caught up with a bunch of friends from university over dinner here, as we've been meaning to check out this place. 


Old school Italian diner best describes the ambience at Rocky's Pizza. Furniture and decor is simple, but dated, with a loud garish green, red and white colour scheme. Note that seating near the kitchen can be a little warmer than elsewhere in the restaurant. 


Service at Rocky's Pizza is average at best. While staff are efficient, they aren't very professional. When we decided to order a half bottle of red wine, which is an option on their menu, the staff showed us a half bottle of red wine, which we decided to get. Then shortly, they came back, and said their collegues told them we couldn't order it, and had to order a full bottle instead. Most of us were alright with that, but that was terrible service. 


The pizzas at Rocky's Pizza are tasty and filling, as each slice is quite large. The crust is crispy and rather small, which will suit those who don't like eating too much dough. However, prices are rather steep, as a pizza for 3 - 5 people can cost between SGD $27 - $42. Rocky's Pizza also offers delivery service. 


Besides pizza, Rocky's Pizza also offers various Italian pasta dishes, soups, salads, submarine sandwiches and desserts.

The Boston Special Pizza has pepperoni, sausage, beef, mushrooms and extra cheese. Great for meat lovers.

The Mexican Sunrise Pizza has beef, onions, olives, garlic and jalapeno peppers, which makes it somewhat spicy. You can also choose to add chili flakes if you feel it isn't fiery enough!
