Created by Olivier Cresp for Mercedes-Benz and launched in 2013, the Mercedes-Benz Club Cologne for men is a woody fruity aromatic fragrance, with deep, strong, sensual masculine notes. Presented in a streamlined and aerodynamic shaped 100 milliliter (ml) bottle, meant to evoke sculptured vehicle carapace and glass with its curves and lines, the Mercedes-Benz Club Cologne represents youth, energy, elegance, and sensual vigor.

Synonymous with the vehicle club and the autumn season, the Mercedes-Benz Club Cologne has top notes of lemon zest, grapefruit, Florida orange, and rhubarb, middle notes of juniper berries, cardamom, and water, with base notes of patchouli, tonka beans, ambroxan / ambrox, and dry wood. With an oscillating fusion of fresh citrus and addictive woody aroma, the Mercedes-Benz Club Cologne has a moderate-high longevity of around 2 - 7 hours, and a rather soft sillage of about 2 metres. It typically requires 2 sprays for best effect.

Retailing for about SGD $89, the Mercedes-Benz Club Cologne for men is a distinct love-it-or-hate-it fragrance. Critics will say it has an unnatural dry synthetic smell, similar to the inside / leather chairs of their luxury car brand. I rather like it, and it's more suitable for indoor use, in particular, high power corporate or social settings, including sales presentations, networking seminars, business meetings, formal cocktail / dinner events, or in clubs. The Mercedes-Benz Club Cologne is best paired with a sharp looking tailored suit, or the brand's vehicle.
