Miniatur Wunderland is a tourist attraction in Hamburg, Germany. Their website is http://www.miniatur-wunderland.com/
It is the largest model railway in the world, and is still growing!

This is like a world within a world. There are sections devoted to recreating entire countries!
Look closely and you'll see more than just model trains... cars that speed and get stopped by miniature policemen, fire engines that race to put out a blaze, airplanes take off and land on schedule, bank robbers tunneling into a gold vault, a cruise ship setting sail, and more!
Created by twin brothers Frederik and Gerrit Braun, the entire project has been in development for over 10 years, and is slated to be completed by 2020.
