Located about 40 minutes drive away from the Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, Central Thailand, Thailand, the Hotel Muse Bangkok Langsuan is a 5-star luxury boutique hotel in the city centre, within walking distance to some of the most popular shopping, dining, entertainment, and tourist attractions. The bespoke experience and feeling of being well taken care off at Hotel Muse Bangkok Langsuan is exceptional.
Ambience
Ambience at Hotel Muse Bangkok Langsuan exudes old-world luxury and sophistication. The dark mahogany wood and marble tiles, warm lights illuminating the decorative columns, creates a sense that you've stepped back in time. There're touches that feel like a Wes Anderson film or a Great Gatsby mardi gras set, with colourful floral arrangements. Even the posters for the live music performing artists channel a similar vibe, in shades of greyscale.
Room
Rooms at Hotel Muse Bangkok Langsuan are spacious and comfortable. I stayed at the Yama Executive suite room, which had additional perks of complimentary canapés, desserts, cocktails, and a complimentary in-room minibar. There was a separate bathtub & rain shower, a 40-inch LCD smart television, and a comfortable king size bed. The in-room wifi was stable and fast, but I experienced intermittent connectivity across 2 of the 7 days stayed.
Food
Food at Hotel Muse Bangkok Langsuan is decent, passable though nothing particularly outstanding. Breakfast is mostly served at the Medici Kitchen & Bar in the basement, the grand dining hall revealing itself as you descend the curved staircase. Staff are attentive and responsive, but the range feels limited compared to elsewhere. Quality is decent, but my preference was to dine elsewhere.
Service
Service at Hotel Muse Bangkok Langsuan is supportive and polite. The staff are able to converse well in several languages, including English, Chinese Mandarin, and Thai. They provide clear explanations, and fulfil requests efficiently. Housekeeping was thorough, and the laundry service performed well. The lifts are dated though, and move relatively slowly, I also wish there were more than just 2 lifts for guests.
Facilities & Activities
The facilities and activities at Hotel Muse Bangkok Langsuan are designed for business and events. During our stay, they successfully hosted a couple of large scale meetings and events. The gymnasium is well equipped, but the long and narrow pool is only able to accommodate a small group at best. The convenient location of Hotel Muse Bangkok Langsuan means it's easy to walk to the nearby shopping centres.
