Feel conflicted about the dog petting experience at Little Zoo Café. Ambience is spacious but cleanliness is a challenge, the place smells of animals, and staff are having to constantly clean up animal waste, so much of it. Entrance fees at Little Zoo Café begin at THB ฿450 / SGD $17 per person for 1 hour, which comes with 1 drink and 1 cookie. Service staff are generally kept occupied cleaning up after the animals, or ensuring customers interact properly with the animals, rarely having time to engage. Little Zoo Café provides hand-washing facilities and lint rollers, as well as disposable socks to cover your feet. However, the personal lockers for bag storage were out of service.
There was a range of animals here at Little Zoo Café, from a room full of welsh corgi pembroke dogs, to a room of mixed dogs and cats such as chihuahuas and siamese, to exotic animals like hedgehogs, chinchillas, raccoons, and foxes. Most animals look decently healthy and happy, though tired. The dogs in particular like to climb into your lap, and promptly nap. Unfortunately, no treats at all here, and staff never told us the animal's names or their backstories, though I heard at least one of the corgi dogs is named Lucy. Feel particularly sad for the exotic wild animals like the foxes, as customers rightfully shouldn't interact with them, and there's little point in even keeping them, when the rooms full of dogs and cats might suffice.
