Staff maintain a friendly and attentive approach, with servers assigned each sector of the dining hall; remembering and greeting regulars. The demonstrate good product knowledge, check if the table's experience is going well, and clean up smoothly.

Ingredients are fresh and locally sourced, their famous premium beef steaks and succulent pork ribs are consistently well-executed and delicious. Portions are large and generous. The Beer Byron Bay Lager (AUD $15) is an easy-drinking lager, brewed by the Byron Bay Brewery in Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia. It has a light straw golden colour, with aromas and tastes of wheat, lime, grapefruit, and hops. The body is thin, light, and watery, with mild fruity sour sweet tangy bitter flavour. Great on a hot summer day, but goes flat quickly.

Enjoyed the Boerewors, Mielie Pap, Chakalaka Sauce (AUD $19), a classic South African dish served as an appetizer. The mielie pap with chakalaka sauce, essentially a boiled cornmeal and salted water cake topped with a stewed vegetable relish, was soft and moist and spongy, carrying vegetal earthy grainy sweet savoury flavour. The snail-shaped boerewors, a spiced minced beef sausage, was snappy and crunchy and juicy, with smoky meaty salty savoury spice flavour. Highly recommended!

Loved the Porchetta, Apple Coleslaw (AUD $21), a typical Italian dish served as an appetizer. This slow-roasted pork belly stuffed with rosemary, sage, and thyme, is crisp crunchy towards the exterior skin, and tender chewy towards the interior meat, with robust meaty savoury salty herbal fatty flavour, so delicious. The apple coleslaw was crisp and fresh, lending a unique fruity vegetal sweet flavour. The creamy apple puree on the base lends a burst of fruity sweet flavour freshness. Good!

The Peri-Peri Chicken Wings, Coleslaw (AUD $20) features 5 medium-sized chicken wings, basted with my requested peri-peri sauce. The chicken wings are juicy and tender, the meat coming clean off the bone, saucy with bright sweet savoury sour tangy zesty spice flavour. The side of fresh coleslaw is crisp crunchy in texture with bright milky vegetal sweet flavour. Highly recommended!
