Introduction
Located near the Sydney central business district, just a 20 minute drive away from the airport, The Sydney Boulevard Hotel is an excellent place for holidays or business meetings, due to its convenience and accessibility. This great location just outside the main central business district also means The Sydney Boulevard Hotel is slightly more affordable than other hotels. However, it shows signs of ageing.
Ambience
The Sydney Boulevard Hotel is very weak in terms of ambience and decor. The hotel shows signs of ageing, and while it's clean and comfortable, the dim lighting and dull colours don't lend a cheery atmosphere. Corridors are dank, but I like that the conference rooms are lit by natural sunlight.
Room
As a 4 star hotel, The Sydney Boulevard Hotel has comfortable, good-sized rooms. The best part is their free wifi throughout the hotel, and the spacious and well-stocked bathrooms. Beds are large and comfortable, but the room doesn't have any cooking equipment beyond a water boiler / kettle. I also like that the rooms have a clear city view, but I wished there were more television channel options.
Food
Food options at The Sydney Boulevard Hotel are limited, with a small in room dining menu. The quality of food at Seasons Cafe isn't that great either, edible but below average in taste. In fact, I'll recommend avoiding any dining at the The Sydney Boulevard Hotel, there are much better food options within walking distance.
Service
Service at The Sydney Boulevard Hotel is friendly and welcoming, and I commend the efficiency of staff at fulfilling requests. The Sydney Boulevard Hotel gets a lot of group / tour bookings, but staff still carry out requests quickly during peak periods. They are also quite knowledgeable about the surrounding area of Sydney.
Facilities & Activities
The Sydney Boulevard Hotel is very conveniently located just a few blocks outside the central business district, within 10 minutes walking distance. I also like that the The Sydney Boulevard Hotel has a well equipped gymnasium, sauna, and steam room, with a variety of workout and exercise options. Beyond that however, there is very little activities to do within the hotel, or for children.
