Though they began back in May 2014 as a pop-up kiosk, Hotdogs Inc finally found a permanent home with the opening of their stall in November 2016. Well regarded as a purveyor of gourmet hotdogs and other Modern Singaporean cuisine, Hotdogs Inc has outlasted most of their competitors in this arena, largely due to their delicious, innovative creations.
Ambience at Hotdogs Inc is clean, simple, and functional. Sturdy black and wooden furnishings line the warmly lit floor space. They've expanded in the last few months, where previously seating was limited, there is now more than ample place for diners. The open concept also lends a sense of space, and feels comfortable.
Service at Hotdogs Inc is partially self-service, with ordering and payment done over the counter. However, staff will serve orders to your table, and I find them friendly and engaging. They display good product knowledge, able to describe items on the menu, and I note they clear away empty / dirty trays and tables quickly and efficiently.
Food at Hotdogs Inc is part American cuisine, part Modern Singaporean cuisine, with a focus on sausages and hotdogs. What makes them stand out from other hotdog outlets is more than just tasty, gourmet hotdogs, but the creative and innovative flavour combination of each dish. In addition, the range of sides is sure to please. Portions are medium sized, designed for individuals, and prices are reasonable. Budget about SGD $12 per person for a meal here.

The Beer Mac's Great White (SGD $8) is a classic Belgian witbier, brewed by Mac's Brewery in New Zealand. It has a cloudy, golden yellow colour, with aromas of banana, red apple, clove, and peach. Body is light, thin, and foamy, with a solid white foam head, and light tastes of wheat, star anise, bread, and orange. Somewhat dry with little complexity. Note though, that the description on the bottle doesn't actually match the taste.

The Fries (SGD $3.50) here feature shoestring fries, with good potato flavour. Simple but well executed, these have a slightly crisp exterior, with a fluffy interior. Lightly salted, which is nice.

The Cheese Fries (SGD $4.50) feature the same good quality, well-executed shoestring fries, coated in a generous amount of mayonnaise and cheese sauce. More decadent than elsewhere.

The Potato Wedges (SGD $3.50) have a nice fluffy texture and good potato flavour, though the portion is small in size. About decent for the quality.

The main star of the Wienerli Hotdog Set (SGD $10.50) is the Wienerli Hotdog (SGD $7.50). The wienerli sausage, also known as Viennese sausage, is juicy and meaty, the blend of beef and pork having a nice savoury salty sweet flavour. Stuffed in a warm, fluffy sesame seed bun, garnished with bitter wild rocket leaves / arugula, crunchy purple cabbage, fresh green cabbage, sharp onions, juicy tomatoes, sweet gherkin relish, and fragrant creamy laksa mayonnaise. Comforting and satisfiying. Good!

Stuffed in a warm, fluffy bun, garnished with bitter wild rocket leaves / arugula, crunchy purple cabbage, fresh green cabbage, sharp diced onions, juicy tomatoes, sweet gherkin relish, and cheese sauce. This surprised me, while simple, it's well-executed and tasty.

If you want something other than sausages, then maybe the Breaded Dory Fish Roll (SGD $7.50) will float your boat. A medium sized breaded john dory fish fillet, golden brown and crisp on the outside, moist and flaky tender on the inside, with delicate sweet savoury notes, is the star. Stuffed in a warm, fluffy bun, garnished with fresh green cabbage, juicy tomatoes, sweet gherkin relish, spring onions, and mayonnaise. Feels so fresh and healthy.

Love the well-executed Premium Squid Balls (SGD $5.50), which are juicy, meaty, and bouncy in texture. Nice sweet savoury flavour, slightly more clean-tasting than elsewhere. Served with a sweet Thai chili dipping sauce, which accompanies this side dish nicely. Worth ordering!
