Established since April 2019, Noodle Star K occupies a culinary niche in Singapore, known for their hand made Korean noodle dishes. Operated under the Super Star K group, Noodle Star K takes their noodles seriously, with 100% hand made goodness in each bowl. With such deliciously tasty noodles in the first Korean noodles speciality restaurant in Singapore, noodle fans can rejoice!

Ambience at Noodle Star K is homely and casual. Lit by bright overhead lights, simple wooden furnishings are neatly spaced across 2 levels, in warm earthy tones of wood, brown, white, and beige. Wallpaper with the pictoral process of making their noodles adorns the common space, lending insight into their dishes.

Service at Noodle Star K is friendly but transactional. There's limited opportunity to interact with staff, but they fulfill orders quickly and clean up finished tables efficiently. The menu is helpful clear with good photos, so there's little need for staff to demonstrate product knowledge.

Food at Noodle Star K is Korean cuisine, focused on authentic hand made Korean noodles. There's a good range of both warm and chilled noodles on the menu, and helpful descriptions adorning the walls help you better appreciate your meal. Quality is consistently above average. Portions are sized for individuals, but may be shared. Prices are reasonable, budget about SGD $18 per person.

Served chilled, the Boricha / Barley Tea (SGD $3) only appears thin and light. But this barley tea holds robust earthy grainy sweet flavour.

Their version of Kimchi Baechu / Kimchi Pickled Cabbage (SGD $Complimentary) has a more juicy crisp texture to the kimchi pickled cabbage. Also has a sharp spicy sour vegetal sweet kick to flavour, with the spicy heat building gradually. Good!

The Danmuji / Yellow Pickled Daikon Radish (SGD $Complimentary) is juicy and crunchy, with the thick cut slices of yellow pickled daikon radish having a refreshing vegetal sweet sour flavour. A decent palate cleanser. Worth ordering!

The Kongnamul Muchim / Cold Soy Bean Sprouts (SGD $Complimentary) is lightly refreshing, with the chilled bean sprouts being fresh and crisp, with a light juicy texture. Dressed with sesame sauce, this has robust vegetal sweet nutty flavour. Worth ordering!

The Gogi Mandu / Pork Dumplings (SGD $9.80) feature large pork dumplings with a medium thin chewy dumpling skin, filled with juicy tender minced pork and crisp spring onions. Bite in, and it bursts delightfully, releasing the meaty vegetal sweet savoury salty flavours of the ingredients. So satisfying. Good!

The Dak Kalguksu / Chicken Noodles Soup (SGD $14.80) is a warming chicken broth with knife cut noodles. This warm soothing chicken noodle soup has long thin slippery knife cut flour noodles, garnished with crisp spring onions, crisp dried seaweed, juicy zucchini strips, tender shredded chicken meat, and soft white onions. The soup / broth is rich with chicken stock, having an enticing meaty vegetal earthy sweet savoury herbal flavour. Pure comfort food. Highly recommended!

The Chik Naengmyeon / Arrowroot Cold Noodles Soup (SGD $16.80) has a chilled daikon radish broth that's non-spicy (there's another spicy version). The cold noodle soup has long thin chewy arrowroot noodles, garnished with juicy zucchini strips, crisp daikon radish strips, juicy Korean pear, wobbly hard boiled egg, and finished with a splash of white vinegar. The soup / broth is rich with daikon radish stock, having a lovely vegetal herbal sweet sour flavour. Lovely dish. Highly recommended!

The Tangsuyuk / Korean Sweet & Sour Pork (SGD $28) features flour-battered strips of tender pork loin, with a crisp exterior and tender moist interior, crunching lightly to release a nice meaty savoury sweet salty flavour. Served with a Korean sweet and sour sauce on the side, thick and gloopy rich, lending bold sweet sour flavour to each piece of battered pork. Among the better versions I've had. Highly recommended!
