Opening its doors in August 2012, ToriGO is a popular halal-certified, fast food / casual dining outlet. Similar to their competitors, they offer a focused menu of fusion / localised Western food, revolving around their speciality of chicken.
Ambience at ToriGO is brightly lit, clean, and modern. The small seating area is regularly cleaned by staff, and with its sturdy wooden patterned furniture, looks welcoming. As a casual dining / fast food place, the turnover is quick, so even during peak periods, the waiting time for a table is rather short.
Service at ToriGO is largely self-service, with ordering, payment, and collection of orders done over the counter. However, staff can make recommendations if asked. The menu is clear, with nice illustrations and photos. I also note that staff are efficient at clearing away empty / dirty tables regularly.
Food at ToriGO is largely fusion American Japanese cuisine, localised Singaporean Western food. Their main focus is chicken, with both fried and barbecue styles. Quality is consistent, and dishes are above average in taste and execution. Portions are sized for individuals, and prices are wallet-friendly and afforable. Budget about SGD $10 per person for a meal here.

Love the Chili Sauce here, it's got a spicy, fiery kick, with a fragrant hint of garlic.

As expected, the Cream Of Mushroom Soup (SGD $4.50) is a basic, creamy, nearly tasteless, canned mushroom soup. Not that tasty but rather filling. At least there's generous chunks of diced button mushrooms within, but still poor value for money on its own. More worth it as part of a set meal.

The Barbecue Amai Chicken Wings (SGD $2 per piece, $3.50 for 2 pieces) feature tender, juicy chicken wings, with a glazed savoury sweet skin. The chicken meat isn't oily or greasy, and comes easily off the bone. Very satisfiying. Worth ordering!

The Half Barbecue Amai Chicken With Rice (SGD $8.90) is served with a light brown meat gravy over starchy buttered white rice, and a crunchy chilled coleslaw on the side. The barbecue chicken is yummy, with tender, moist chicken meat, and a glazed savoury sweet skin. Satisfiying comfort meal. Good!

It's fast food, so I expected the Teriyaki Salmon Steak With Spaghetti Aglio Olio (SGD $14.50) to have a lower quality of spaghetti. The spaghetti pasta noodles was soft in texture, but at least they added carrots and shiitake mushrooms for more flavour. I got more chili for the added spicy kick. The salmon steak is large, flaky, and meaty sweet. But it borders on dry, though the sweet teriyaki sauce glaze helps somewhat. Decent enough to order.

The Miso Giant Chicken Leg With Udon (SGD $12.90) was disappointing. Creative dish, but sorely let down by the execution. The starchy, clumpy, thick udon noodles are stir fried with carrots, shiitake mushrooms, and cabbage, but the savoury oyster sauce is thin and weak. The giant chicken leg, while having a nicely savoury salty miso paste coated skin, suffers from dry, firm meat. While this dish is filling, it's an overall waste of calories.
