Established in April 2017 and opening in October 2017, Beriwell was envisioned to be a dessert cafe offering healthy, dairy-free, gluten-free, vegan dessert options. Beriwell founders Dashanta 'Dash' Nalin, Anand, and Galissa B. Seth, set out to create healthy soft serve, using natural ingredients, with no artificial flavouring and additives.

Ambience at Beriwell is picture-worthy. The pretty place is adorned with paintings of nature (topical forest with plants and birds, sunrise over the beach), with warm decorative lights overhead, and comfortable cushioned rattan furniture. A small corner lounge makes for a relaxing spot. Perfect place for chilling and chatting with friends.

Service at Beriwell is largely self-service. Ordering and payment is over the counter, though staff helpfully serve orders to you after a short preparation. Staff also display good product knowledge, able to describe not only the ingredients, but their health benefits. I note they're decently efficient at cleaning up.

Food at Beriwell is focused on healthy modern desserts and beverages; primarily their soft serve and smoothies. Concept is superfood and health-centric. All their desserts and beverages are hand crafted with fresh ingredients. Portions are sized for individuals, but can be shared. Prices are comparable to other dessert shops, budget about SGD $5 per person.

The Acai Superswirl With Salted Caramel Peanuts & Cookie Butter Drizzle (SGD $6.90) features their signature acai soft serve, made from a blend of Brazilian acai berry pulp and green bananas (not acai powder). Packed with antioxidants and fibre, it has a thick creamy texture with good natural fruity sweet flavour, and doesn't melt easily. The sticky crunchy salted caramel peanuts have a nutty salty sweet flavour, while the creamy grainy cookie butter drizzle has a bready sweet milky flavour.

The Coco Majik Superswirl With Kiwi Fruit & Oreo Cookie Crumble & Almond Butter (SGD $7.70) features their signature coco majik soft serve, made from a blend of young Thai coconut meat, coconut water, and spirulina. Packed with nutrients, it has a thick creamy texture with good natural floral earthy sweet flavour, and doesn't melt easily. The juicy soft kiwi fruit have a fruity sweet flavour, the crunchy grainy oreo cooke crumble has a chocolatey sweet bready flavour, while the creamy sticky almond butter has a nutty earthy flavour.
