Back when I first visited The Artisan Creator's (TAC) Coffee in 2016, they were brewing out of the premises of Tiong Hoe Specialty Coffee. From January 2017, they've converted to an online store front, and returned to their pop-up roots. Having been established since October 2014, The Artisan Creator's (TAC) Coffee has recently improved upon their product offerings with the introduction of convenient coffee drip bags.

The Artisan Creator's (TAC) Coffee new coffee drip bags are packed with 100g of their house blend grinded coffee, roasted and ground according to their recipes. These individually-portioned drip bags are convenient, allowing you to enjoy their signature blends anytime, anywhere, with a mug and the addition of hot water. I like that The Artisan Creator's (TAC) Coffee drip bags are easy to unfurl, support well along the edges of the mug, and are mess-free. A box of 10 coffee drip bags retails for SGD $14.90, and there's a choice of 2 coffee blends.

The TAC #1 Blend features a blend of arabica grade beans from Brazil (Minas Gerais state), El Salvador (La Libertad department), and Ethiopia (Sidamon province). It has a well-balanced lively body with smooth velvety acidity, fruity earthy sweet flavour with a hint of floral honeyed notes, and a gentle nutty finish. Surprisingly low on bitterness.

The TAC #2 Blend features a blend of arabica grade beans from India (Karnataka state), Columbia (Quindio department), and Indonesia (Aceh province). It has a bold heavy body with medium rustic acidity, woody earthy nutty flavour with a hint of smoky notes, and a lingering aftertaste. The addition of milk makes the smoky tones more pronounced.

The Coffee Drip Bag are easy to unfurl and setup, being rather intuitive. The cardboard support has sufficient thickness to hold up well, and prevents it from being messy. First, wet the grounds with 90 degress celsius hot water, then wait for 20 seconds. Next, continue to add hot water at the same periodic intervals, allowing it to gently steep. For greater strength to the coffee, leave the bag in the mug for up to 3 minutes.
