I was really impressed with this hidden gem of a restaurant in Serangoon Gardens. Located at the corner of a row of shophouses, Villa Di Parma (Formerly Ristorante De Parma) looks nondescript from the outside. But step inside and good quality Italian food and excellent service await you...
I understand that Villa Di Parma (Formerly Ristorante De Parma) make a lot of the sauces and stock in their dishes by hand, fresh everyday. Thumbs up for the effort!
The pizza is really good, you can taste the freshness of the sauce, and they're not stingy on toppings either.
Pasta portions are large, and very filling too. Again, the sauce shines through.
I particularly liked their Italian Sausages with Potato Dip. The potato is smooth and almost creamy. And biting into the sausages releases a burst of flavor.
Service is personal as well, as Villa Di Parma (Formerly Ristorante De Parma) is a small family-run operation. They take the time to patiently explain menu items, and also ask for feedback on their food and service.
