Fruit Paradise is a Japanese Patisserie specialising in fruit tarts made with light, sweetened Japanese cream topped with fresh fruits. Free of addictives and preservatives, Fruit Paradise also wins points because their fruit tarts are just so camera friendly. However, while their fruit tarts certainly look healthy, they aren't... packed with a lot of cream within.

Ambience at Fruit Paradise is casual, with functional furniture and white wooden colours. Most people opt for takeaway though. If dining in, ask to sit near the kitchen, which is viewable through the open glass. You can watch the chefs carefully stacking the fruit tarts!

Service at Fruit Paradise is as casual as the ambience, which is decent for takeaway, but not so good for dining in. Most Fruit Paradise have staff take your order, and serve it to the table, but payment is at the counter. Don't expect much from the service here.

While Fruit Paradise mainly deals in desserts, they do have a small selection of Japanese curry rice dishes. The main dishes aren't that great, stick to their beautiful fruit tarts instead! While I certainly understand using cream as a technique to hold the fruits together, I do wish they had more fruits instead of cream!

The signature Mixed Fruits tart consists of a crumbly biscuit base and light custard mousse topped with 9 varieties of fresh fruits, including red apple, green apple, mango, orange, grapefruit, kiwi, strawberry, blueberry and banana. The taste is a refreshing burst of sour citrus and sweet sugar.

The Seasonal Fruits tart offers a crumbly biscuit base and hand made vanilla mousse topped with a variety of seasonal fruits. It varies from day to day, and may include fruits such as red grapes, green grapes, grapefruit, lime, lemon, longan, mango, pineapple, strawberry, blueberry, blackberry, raspberry, peach, kiwi, rock melon and honeydew melon.

The Mixed Berries Chocolate tart has a crumbly biscuit base and rich chocolate mousse topped with strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and chocolate. It is infused with some alcohol.

The Nutty Caramel tart has a crumbly biscuit base and salted caramel mousse topped with caramelised macadamia nuts, bananas, strawberry, whipped cream and chocolate. I like how the caramelised nuts add a crunchy, sweet texture to the softness of the salted caramel mousse and bananas.

The Chocolate Banana tart has a crumbly biscuit base and chocolate mousse topped with crushed almonds, bananas, chocolate and whipped cream. Rather decent fruit tart.

The Milk Pudding Puff contains light vanilla mousse topped with a small slice of strawberry, blueberry, kiwi and orange. The pastry is light, and holds up well when eaten.
