Opening in July 2015, Tino's Pizza Café is actually a pizza brand that originated from Taiwan, with a cafe style concept. Their hand tossed, secret recipe pizza crust is the go-to here, but otherwise, Tino's Pizza Café is just average as an eatery, nothing particularly terrible or outstanding about them.
Ambience at Tino's Pizza Café is modern casual, with a character all their own. The warm mood lighting, and small floor space with tightly packed wooden furniture, is intentionally designed to be intimate and cozy. Glass panels over the kitchen offer a view of Chefs at work, while small touches of quirky decor catch the eye.
Service at Tino's Pizza Café is friendly, but can get overwhelmed during peak periods, particularly if there is a queue. Staff don't display much product knowledge or engagement, carrying out tasks mechanically but efficiently. They clean up and clear tables quickly when diners leave. I note it's hard to attract their attention, and they also take awhile to fulfill orders.
Food at Tino's Pizza Café is Modern Italian and fusion cuisine. Their pizza crust retains the traditional Italian taste, and the option of going Napoletana (thick crust with 6 slices) or Romena (thin crust with 8 slices) uses the exact same amount of dough. However, the modernity is in the toppings / garnishes, with some unusual combinations such as mala, smoked duck, or durian.
Have heard feedback that the pasta and paella dishes at Tino's Pizza Café aren't that good, and may be skipped. Portions are decently sized, and best shared. Prices are comparable to other cafes, budget about SGD $20 per person for a meal here.
I'm aware that the trendiest dish at Tino's Pizza Café is their Durian Mao Shan Wang Pizza. I did not try this however, as firstly, durian doesn't really appeal to me, and secondly, we couldn't quite wrap our head around the idea of a savoury durian pizza.

Fairly straightforward Ice Lemon Tea (SGD $1.80), with a fruity zesty tangy sweet sour flavour. Alright.

As thirst-quenchers go, the Ice Fruit Tea (SGD $4.50) is pricey but gets the job done, with a refreshing fruity sweet flavour of lemon, lime, peach, and pineapple.

The Beer Peroni Nastro Azzurro (SGD $11.90) is a straw golden coloured pale Roman lager, whose name means 'Blue Ribbon' in Italian. Poured with a dense white foam head, this beer is known internationally for its young, sparkling, very light body; somewhat odd aroma of grains, skunk, and lemon; taste of crackers, corn, and bread. A really light European beer, refreshing and great for summer days!

Pretty good Cheese Fries (SGD $6.90), with medium-thick chips, coated in rich cheese sauce, and garnished with bacon and Italian herbs. The solid potato flavour is complemented by the salty savoury taste of the pork bacon, and the salty cheesy goodness of the sauce. Worth ordering!

For the Pizza Signore Tino Chicken (SGD $22.90), we chose the Romena thin crust style. The crisp pizza crust has a light grainy bready flavour, complemented by the sweet tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. Garnished with tender chicken pepperoni, crisp pork bacon, soft white onions, juicy red bell peppers / capsicum, tender oyster mushrooms, and chewy black olives. Nice flavours of meaty savoury salty earthy. Good!
