Named after the founder-baker Elijah Tan, who started Elijah Pies in July 2014 out of a desire to bake for his girlfriend Wong Li Min, Elijah Pies retails delicious, whimsical, colourful, vibrant dessert pies and tarts, either online or at various pop-up stalls. They're known for creative combination of various ingredients, and at any one-time, will have 9 different flavours of seasonal pies and tarts for sale.
As much a love story as it is a tale of creative entrepreneurship, Elijah Pies hand craftes each pie / tart from scratch, using fresh seasonal ingredients. Because the couple runs things entirely themselves, advance ordering online is a must, as they quickly go out of stock. I love how pretty all of their pies / tarts look, and prices at Elijah Pies are fairly reasonable as well, comparable to most dessert cafes. Budget about SGD $5 per person.

The Mini Pies Series (SGD $19.90) is a sample set of 9 of their seasonal pie flavours, albeit resembling dessert tarts. Each has a buttery, crumbly pastry crust, with a delicate buttery sweet flavour, and shatters satisfyingly when bit.
