O'Learys Sports Bar actually isn't accessible to the general public, being located within the transit and departure area of Singapore Changi Airport. As such, you'll only be able to visit the place when catching a flight. Globally, O'Learys Sports Bar is a major Irish American franchise worldwide, having been established since November 1988, and their Boston style casual sports bar regularly attracts people looking for good, hearty American meals.

Ambience at O'Learys Sports Bar blends the classic American diner setting with a casual Irish pub. You get sturdy American diner style furniture of dark mahagony wood, neatly arrayed amongst booths in a dimly lit area. The Irish touches are evident in the checkered tablecloths of green and white, as well as splashes of green in the fittings. Decor of sports stars line the walls, with large and well positioned television screens showing the latest sporting matches.

Service at O'Learys Sports Bar is casual and transactional. Staff perform their duties unhurriedly, but also unenthusiastically. You get the miminum standards of politeness and product knowledge. Orders are fulfilled quickly, but it can take awhile for staff to complete the billing process for you. They also clean up rather slowly after diners leave. The feeling here is just missing that sacarastic, snarky attitude of old-school diners.

Food at O'Learys Sports Bar is focused on American cuisine, but quality is only average at best. Classic American diner dishes feature, and portions are large and hearty, even though it's meant for individuals. Expect to be really full. They offer a good range of drinks, with beer featured prominently. Prices are comparable to other gastropubs, dining here is poor value for money. Budget about SGD $35 per person.

The Boston Celtic BBQ Cheese Burger (SGD $32) is a classic, hearty, American Boston cheeseburger. A hand formed, tightly packed minced beef patty, incredibly juicy and savoury, is sandwiched between soft and fluffy sesame seed burger buns, along with crunchy white onions, juicy tomatoes, fresh lettuce, tangy sweet barbecue sauce, and gooey melted cheddar cheese. So messy, yet so satisfiying to eat. A straightforward classic burger. Served with chilled coleslaw, pickled gerkins, and thick cut English chips sprinkled with a little salt. Good!
