Operated by the team behind The RawR Kitchen and Five Marbles Craft Beer Restaurant, On Tap Fresh Brew Craft Beer brings their famous craft beers to the heartlands. Founded in July 2014, On Tap Fresh Brew Craft Beer operates like a regular hawker stall, but their heartland locations make it accessible and convenient for customers who desire good quality Singaporean craft beer.

Ambience at On Tap Fresh Brew Craft Beer leverages the hawker centres their stalls are located in. This means open, bustling, windy places, with plenty of communal seating. The selected locations tend to usually have stalls open for dinner or supper, allowing customers to pair craft beer with local Singaporean hawker food.

Service at On Tap Fresh Brew Craft Beer is completely self-service, with ordering, payment, and collection over the counter. Tapped to order, each brew takes an average of 3 minutes to be served, as staff have to tap it slowly to prevent fizzing. Staff display decent product knowledge, able to briefly describe each brew available.

Food at On Tap Fresh Brew Craft Beer is non-existent, as unlike The RawR Kitchen and Five Marbles Craft Beer Restaurant, the sole focus is offering their craft beers. With up to 11 craft beers on the menu, including seasonal brews, there's sufficient variety of alcoholic drinks. Portions are sized for individuals. The Beer Wheat (SGD $8) has a bright straw yellow colour, with a creamy, silky texture. It has aromas and tastes of wheat grains, white bread, and light corn. Nicely grainy bready sweet in flavour, with a good clean finish. A refreshing and drinkable beverage.

The Beer Czech Pilsner (SGD $8) has a dull butter yellow colour, with a thin, watery texture. It has aromas and tastes of white bread, biscuit, aluminium, and grass. Light metallic bitter sweet grainy flavour, with a soapy finish. I find this fairly weak.

The Beer English Bitter (SGD $9) has a deep finch yellow colour, with a lively, thin texture. It has aromas and tastes of biscuit, rye bread, and hops. Nicely toasty bitter sweet in flavour, with a short semi-dry finish. Easy to drink and fairly light compared to other versions elsewhere.

The Beer English India Pale Ale (SGD $10) has a dark sandstone orange colour, with a smooth, thick texture. It has aromas and tastes of hops, steel, grapefruit, and pine cone. Boldly bitter sweet citrusy in flavour, with a medium dry finish. Easy drinking for an IPA, a middle-of-the-road rendition.

The Beer Irish Red Ale (SGD $9) has a deep brick red colour, with a smooth, soft texture. It has aromas and tastes of toffee, toasted white bread, and malt. Nicely bitter roasty sweet in flavour, with a medium lingering finish. A decent brew to alleviate the heat from spicy dishes.

The Beer Dunkel (SGD $9) has a deep tan brown colour, with a smooth, rounded texture. It has aromas and tastes of caramel, liquorice, and roasted coffee beans. Gently sweet malty bitter in flavour, with a short fading finish. An accessible and drinkable brew.
