Established since November 1999, ManNa Korean Restaurant is a long-serving casual dining restaurant specialising in Korean barbecue and traditional dishes. While quality tends to vary at their branches, the ManNa Korean Restaurant flagship stall typically draws crowds for its hearty portions and consistent quality.

Ambience at the refreshed ManNa Korean Restaurant flagship is spacious, well-ventilated, and attractive. Faux greenery and wall painted murals lend a touch of beauty, while bright warm lights illuminate the sturdy wooden furnishings, which are neatly spaced out. The furniture is comfortable, though the table sizes aren't sufficiently large to accomodate many plates. Best of all is the relatively odour-free atmosphere.

Service at the refreshed ManNa Korean Restaurant is polite, attentive, and friendly. While there's usually a queue between 10 - 40 minutes, staff quickly greet and seat guests upon entry. They display decent product knowledge, able to offer recommendations, and they clean up efficiently when diners leave. Some of the Korean staff have limited ability to converse in English, but generally understand what customers are saying.

Food at the refreshed ManNa Korean Restaurant remains focused on traditional Korean cuisine, including barbecue and comfort dishes. They're best known for their hearty barbecue buffet, with fresh quality ingredients and premium cuts of meat. Personally feel their marinated meats are tastier. Portions are large, sized for communal group dining, and are meant for sharing. Prices are reasonable, budget about SGD $30 per person.

The Bori Cha / Barley Tea (SGD $2.50 per jug) is light and thin, with a grainy earthy flavour. Rather refreshing, especially when paired with barbecue, the chilled bori cha / barley tea helps cool the palate.

Understand they make their own Kimchi Baechu / Kimchi Pickled Cabbage (SGD $Complimentary). With a juicy satisfying crunch to texture, and bright sharp vegetal spice sweet flavour, this kimchi baechu / kimchi pickled cabbage was rather refreshing. Good!

Had differing views about the Myeolchi Bokkeum / Fried Anchovies (SGD $Complimentary). One one visit, it was flat and near tasteless, and on another visit, it was crunchy and bright. The myeolchi bokkeum / fried anchovies have a salty sweet flavour with a satsifying crunch to texture, and lacks the distinct taste of anchovy fish. Just decent.

The Sangchu Geotjeori / Seasoned Lettuce Salad (SGD $Complimentary) is fresh and crisp crunchy, with bright vegetal sweet spice flavour. Their rendition of sangchu geotjeori / seasoned lettuce salad is among the best banchan / side dishes here. Highly recommended!

The Pa Muchim / Spring Onion Salad (SGD $2.80) is lovely. Their version of pa muchim / spring onion salad has a lot more marinade than elsewhere, lending a sharp sour spicy sweet vegetal flavour, and a juicy crunch to texture. However, this means you lose a little of the enticing bright freshness beneath the heavy sauce. Worth ordering!

The Haemul Pajeon / Seafood Pancake (SGD $15.80) is so good! The large and fluffy moist haemul pajeon / seafood pancake is generously studded with crisp leeks and fresh bouncy squid, resulting in a bright vegetal grainy sweet salty savoury flavour. Served with a light soy sauce and white onion dipping sauce, which has deep vegetal salty sweet savoury flavour. I felt the sauce wasn't that necessary; it's tasty enough on its own. Highly recommended!

The distinctive taste of their Japchae / Stir-Fried Sweet Potato Glass Noodles (SGD $14.80) is the pronounced vegetal earthy nutty sweet savoury flavour, from the silky slippery smooth sweet potato glass noodles being tossed with crisp spring onions, tender carrots, crunchy white onions, bouncy shiitake mushrooms, and sesame sauce. Loved the Soondubu Jjigae / Silken Tofu Stew (SGD $13.80), which has a rich spicy savoury eggy sweet soup / broth, filled with soft silken tofu beancurd, soft boiled egg, kimchi baechu / kimchi pickled cabbage, and sliced chili. Their version of soondubu jjigae / silken tofu stew is more spicy than elsewhere, though you can request to tone it down. Personally loved the fiery kick it has. Highly recommended!

The Yangnyeom Dak Gui / Marinated Chicken (SGD $23.80) is large and boneless.
