Founded by the folks behind casual western eatery ISteaks Diner, ISteaks Reserved is their premium up-market steakhouse experience, the first stall opening in November 2022. Taking all the great things about ISteaks Diner; from their efficient processes, quick and friendly service, comfortable ambience, and consistently delicious food, then applying it to premium ingredients, results in ISteaks Reserved having a winning formula from the start.
Ambience at ISteaks Reserved channels the American diner vibe, with shades of white and red, comfortable booths flanked with modern tables, and both natural and warm lights. Suitable for lingering meals with family and friends. An open kitchen flanks one end, while distinctly Singaporean decor and knick-knacks line the shelves.
Service at ISteaks Reserved is professional and attentive. Staff accord guests good attention, patiently taking orders, demonstrating good product knowledge when queried, and circle back to check for feedback on the meal. They readily engage guests, proactively top up water, and offer to clear finished plates. Feel well taken care of, great.
Food at ISteaks Reserved remains largely focused on American and British cuisine, with positioning as a steakhouse. Quality cuts of beef dominate the menu, and the kitchen demonstrates consistency, with each order served perfectly done. Portions are medium to large for individuals. Prices command a premium, budget about SGD $51 per person.

The family enjoyed the Oysters Murotsu Bay (SGD $Seasonal Special Only), which were only available for a limited time on the Christmas 2022 menu. These half-dozen fresh oysters were plump and juicy, clean-tasting with a beautiful sweet flavour. Served with a side of lemon wedge and tabasco sauce, to add as you wish. Highly recommended!

Loved the Shellfish Clams & Mussels In Wine (SGD $16), which had small but plump blue mussels and white clams, bouncy and tender in texture. Nicely clean, the steamed shellfish pick up the gravy of white wine, garlic, and parsley, resulting in a lovely robust burst of sweet savoury salty herbal boozy flavour. Addictively delicious, among the better versions I've had. Highly recommended!

A spin on onion rings, the Sweet Onion Loaf (SGD $8) features a large yellow onion, coated in batter then deep-fried. With a crisp crunchy tender texture and bold vegetal salty sweet flavour that's rather pronounced, this was tasty and addictive, but more greasy than other side dishes here. While I felt it good enough on its own, it's served with a honey barbecue sauce on the side, for added tangy sour sweet floral flavour. Good!

The Posset (SGD $7) is a unique dessert, essentially a citrus infused pudding (with juices of oranges, lemons, limes), almost like a panna cotta, soft and wobbly creamy with bright tangy zesty sour sweet flavour. Garnished with fresh juicy slices of kiwi fruit and raspberry, both with fruit sour sweet flavour.
