Located 1 street away from the famed Black Pork Street in Jeju City, we'd heard of a place that locals would frequent for their delicious pork ribs, that place being Dalma Suchbul Galbi (달마숯불갈비). With a more wallet-friendly price point that the 'touristy' shops at the famous street, Dalma Suchbul Galbi is worth seeking out.

Ambience at Dalma Suchbul Galbi is homely and cozy. The brightly lit place has sturdy yet comfortable modern furnishings, packed within the small floor area. Each table is centered around the grill in the middle. Ventilation is decent, but expect to come away with the smell of cooking. There's an ambient buzz during peak meal periods.

Service at Dalma Suchbul Galbi is homely and brusque. Much has been said about the husband-wife duo that run this family joint, particularly that the uncle is grumpy, but if you look past it, he simply wants people to enjoy themselves. Thus, service is efficient, be it fulfilling orders or cleaning up. Ordering is easy, because of the limited menu - there's really only 3 options available.
