Founded by Ethan Sim and Zheng Wen Lian in 2018, Snow Slumber is a mattress retailer that specialises in cold-engineered mattress technology, designed especially for warm climates like Singapore. Snow Slumber mattress products are said to encourage better, more comfortable sleep, through optimal body support and heat dissipating technology.






The Snow Slumber mattress products are engineered with 6 layers. Layer 1 is the ActiveSnow+ Silk™ layer, knitted with premium grade-A raw mulberry silk, which absorbs and dissipates body heat. Layer 2 is the Natural AirWool™ layer, woven with air pockets to help air to circulate around the mattress. Layer 3 is the Cold Gel Memory Foam layer, whose soft and breathable characteristics help draw heat away from the body. Together, these layers provide a cooling effect of up to 7 degrees celsius cooler.

Layer 4 is the Blue Pressure Massage Foam™ layer which is engineered to provide optimal support and spinal alignment with its continuous ergonomic zones. Layer 5 is the naturally resilient, elastic Snow Latex Layer™ layer which responds to your weight, shape, and body movements, offering comfortable support and pressure relief, whether you sleep on your back, sides, or stomach. The open cell structure of the latex foam layer also helps ventilation. Layer 6 is the 12 Zoned Pocketed Springs layer, with 12 zones of pocketed springs distributed across the mattress, and each pocketed spring reacting independently to body weight, resulting in decent motion isolation and decreased sleep disturbance.








The Snow Slumber mattress offers a perfect medium firmness of 7.5, a good balance of support and comfort for sleeping. Crafted without any harmful chemicals or toxins, the allergen-resistant materials such as latex naturally keep away micro-organisms, and the mattress is anti-dust mite and antimicrobial. Snow Slumber offers up to 15 years warranty on their mattress products. I find ordering Snow Slumber mattress products online to be easy and straightforward, the Queen (SGD $1,200) size mattress, measuring 190 centimetres length x 152 centimetres width x 33 centimetres height, was delivered within 10 working days and the staff helped me set it up. Have been sleeping cool and easy with this mattress. Highly recommended!
