Inspired to design a pair of travel shoes for his wife, designer Fernando Acevedo decided to create unique footwear incorporating a strong Spanish modern art style with a love for travel, establishing Uin Footwear in 2015 in Toledo, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. Offering fashion forward shoes designed for a variety of settings, from sports to casual, Uin Footwear designs its products around a philosophy of comfortable, artistic, soft, light, natural, and easy characteristics.

Each pair of Uin Footwear shoes are a canvas that tells a story, offering great diversity for expression. This moves their products beyond merely functional value, to emotional value; the richness in colour and design exuding a distinctive spirit. Uin Footwear designs their shoes with anti-slip rubber soles, while the primary materials used for the upper are either sustainably sourced canvas, synthetic vegan leather, or microfiber suede; all easy to brush clean. The design imprinted on the canvas depicts rolling blue waves in the foreground, gentle green hills in the middle distance, and a red yellow sky with a rising or setting sun in the background. The thick webbing straps hold fast, allowing greater ease of movement. The bottom surface is imprinted with a map of Mallorca / Majorca, Balearic Islands, Spain; while the top surface features the vivid equatorial beauty of tropical plants, evoking a bright summer aesthetic. While the bottom surface offers good grip, I find the top surface to be slightly slippery, though it's still a decent pair of footwear.
