The best thing about Prive Cafe is the ambience of the marina and waterfront, just outside the cafe. As such, outdoor seating is more plentiful at Prive Cafe, although it can be problematic if it rains.

Service at Prive Cafe fast and efficient, as there are quite a lot of staff. However, it isn't particulary outstanding or memorable.

Food at Prive Cafe is western style cafe fare. They are known for their all day breakfast, served daily from 9.30am till 5pm. Prive Cafe is also known for their selection of desserts, cakes and pastries.

The atmosphere at Prive Cafe is pretty laidback, and any attire is suitable for dining here.

Driving or cabbing to Prive Cafe is recommended, as public transport to the marina at Keppel Bay is more inconvienent.

The Latte, the Prive's Hot Chocolate, and the Babyccino are only slightly above average in taste and aroma. The Vanilla Bourbon Tea was quite interesting for me though, with a hint of vanilla taste and aroma.

I liked the roasted tomato and sausage in the Prive's Ultimate Brekkie. And the Omelette With Smoked Leg Ham had liberal stuffings of the ham, and surprisingly quite filling and satisfying. The creole-inspired Black Beans & Eggs had savoury umami flavour from the black beans, with salty and crispy fried baby squid. Sadly, the Eggs Benedict were the biggest let-down, as the eggs were poached too long and had turned semi-solid.

The desserts here are very good, and I enjoyed the Lemon Meringue Pie the most due to combination of sour lemon curd and sweet meringue. The Cinnamon Apple Crumble Cupcake is probably one of the most value for money items on the menu, and is quite sweet and tasty. While the New York Cheesecake had a rich creamy texture to the cake, I felt the biscuit crust was a little too thick.

Lemon Meringue Pie

The Home Style Pancakes are simple and quite average, and generally can be skipped for something better. But what made it good was the Golden Maple Syrup, a sweet natural honey that tasted simply fantastic. I would probably recommended ordering something else, then get a side order of syrup, and slather it with this honey instead!
