The name Bellroy is a mash-up of Bells Beach and Fitzroy, locales where the company is based, and their philosophy is offering slim, well-designed carry products, made with premium materials and quality standards, while retaining affordable prices.

Having used the Bellroy Note Sleeve for men for a good 4 years or so, when I was looking for a new wallet, I knew it had to be from Bellroy. Opted to purchase the Bellroy Hide & Seek Hi, Ranger Green. This is an all-weather, all-rounder, classic bi-fold wallet with nifty hidden features, yet retains a slim, sleek silhouette. The dimensions of 115 millimetres (length) by 95 millimetres (width) allows for storage of full-sized money notes, even currencies that have tall designs. It carries up to 12 cards, either in 4 quick-access card slots, or a hidden pocket for other lesser-used cards. Besides the main pocket for money notes, there's a clever additional semi-hidden coin pouch and money note section, beneath a leather flap.

The Bellroy Hide & Seek Hi, Ranger Green men's wallet looks classy and sophisticated, with an understated Bellroy Logo that's elegant. They offer 9 different colour options, I chose the ranger green colour which exudes a manly ruggedness. Equipped with radio frequency identification (RFID) signal blocking, which protects against card skimming. The wallet material is environmentally certified leather, which is vegetable-tanned, then dyed through with a colour of your choice. This allows for better aging, compared to surface-painted leather which damages more easily. The texture feels rich and durable, soft to the touch, and the stitching is impeccable.
