Description:
Mysore Pak is a dessert / sweet from Karnataka, South India. Tradition has it that Mysore Pak was invented by a chef at the Mysore royal palace.

Mysore Pak is made with water, sugar, chickpea flour (Besan) and clarified butter (Ghee).

While simple, Mysore Pak is an extremely popular dessert / sweet, and is cut into rectangle shapes or cube shapes before being served.

Typically, Mysore Pak has the consistency of a cookie / short bread, and is slightly firm and crunchy in texture. Mysore Pak should have a full buttery taste, without being too sweet.
