Louis Vuitton, commonly known as LV, is a French luxury unisex fashion brand that sells formal business clothing, casual outfits, jewelry and accessories. Louis Vuitton is among the world's leading luxury fashion brands, and is especially popular among Singaporeans. While its popularity initially began among the older generation, it has quickly influenced the younger generation as well. Such is the strength of the Louis Vuitton brand name, that when asking about recommendations for luxury goods, Louis Vuitton is almost always mentioned.

The strength of the Louis Vuitton brand is a result of superior workmanship, quality products, personalised and friendly service, tight control of distribution, as well as its instantly recognisable, timeless, classic designs. And because part of the appeal of luxury goods is showing them off, most of the Louis Vuitton products carry their logo prominently. Prices are more expensive in Louis Vuitton Singapore as compared to France, due to tax, exhange rates, and import costs. Be prepared to spend between SGD $90 to $3000 on any 1 product.

Unfotunately, Louis Vuitton doesn't have an extensive or attractive range of formal business shoes for men. The few designs available aren't very eye-catching, except for a few with a prominent LV buckle. Their range of cufflinks for men are quite limited as well, although the designs are classic and elegant. Louis Vuitton cufflinks incidently, happen to be among the more affordable (hint: cheaper) items in the boutique. I find their key holders to be quite interesting, especially the astropill designs, which are equipped with a little light bulb, so you can find the key hole in the dark.

In particular, I love the designs for men's business belts and wallets at Louis Vuitton. Most feature the LV logo, the LV Monogram design pattern, or the Damier design pattern. However, I thought their designs for sunglasses were rather dated.

The wallets and bags for ladies at Louis Vuitton are designed to appeal to a wide age range of ladies. Some designs are more trendy and fashionable, while others might appeal more to the older generations. I find that staff at Louis Vuitton are friendly and professional, but unlike some other luxury brands, staff only attend to you at their respective counters, instead of following you around the store. Louis Vuitton doesn't provide cleaning services, though they will advice you on caring for your product. And while repair services are available, charges are dependent on the type of repair needed.
