Ever since I was a kid, Kenny Rogers Roasters has only meant two things to me: Excellent Roasted Chicken and Delicious Corn Muffins. I used to travel long distances (in Malaysia) just to buy their Corn Muffins. Fresh from the oven, the warm and fluffy muffins release a burst of buttery flavour when you bite into them... And they almost melt in your mouth. I used to finish off half-a-dozen all by myself!

At Kenny Rogers Roasters, their roasted chicken is the other star. Well seasoned, it's tasty and juicy all the way through. However, consistency is an issue, the meat may be a little dry at times... really depends on your luck that particular day. Still, they did get it spot on more often than not... at least for the total number of times I've eaten there.

Seems that having a bigger crowd increases the likelihood of getting dry chicken... Maybe it's because the staff are under stress?

Their sides are pretty good, and compliment the mains. All in all, Kenny Rogers Roasters is a pretty decent place for roasted chicken.
