Babu Ram Paranthe Wale is located within the twisting alleys of Chandni Chowk, in Old Delhi, India. The name of the lane it's located on is Gali Paranthe Wali, which in English, means 'the lane of fried bread'. Not surprisingly, the speciality of eateries in this area is Paratha, a North Indian flat bread.

Babu Ram Paranthe Wale is one of the famous paratha shops in this area. Ambience is poor, and so is hygiene. But locals, tourists, politicians and celebrities, still flock to this area for the authentic tasting food. If you wish to dine here, you'll have to close and eye to the dirty streets outside the shop, and somewhat suspicious washing methods.

Don't expect much service at Babu Ram Paranthe Wale, as this is a small streetside eatery. Furniture is rather cramped in this small outlet, though the open kitchen means you'll be able to see them prepare your food. Service is quick and uncomplicated, simply order, wait for your food to be served, and make payment.

Food at Babu Ram Paranthe Wale is strictly vegetarian, authentic, and traditional. Dishes don't include garlic or onions, due to cultural beliefs observed by the owners. Parathas are usually served with mixed vegetable pickles, paneer and potato curry, potato and fenugreek curry, sweet tamarind chutney, mint chutney, and a sauteed sweet pumpkin mash.

Prices at Babu Ram Paranthe Wale haven't changed much, and it's extremely cheap to dine here.
