Hot on the heels of the mega coffee franchises comes Costa Coffee, a coffeehouse brand from the United Kingdom. As a franchise, you're assured of having acceptable standards and decent quality at Costa Coffee, however, that also makes the place rather unspectacular and forgettable.

Ambience at Costa Coffee is the typical laid back cafe vibe, and the furniture is comfortable. Nice place to relax, or perhaps catch up on studies.

Service at Costa Coffee is simple, as you'll have to order at the counter, and staff will serve your orders to you. Generally, Costa Coffee isn't a place you'll visit for service, as the process is rather linear for staff - take orders, accept payment, prepare food / drink, serve.

The coffee here is quite good, but not good enough for me to specially make a trip here. It's fine if you're in the area, and don't want to visit the other major coffee franchises. The food at Costa Coffee is themed along the lines of sandwiches, pies, and pastries. Quick, easy to consume, and mass manufactured. Decent tasting at best, and rather expensive for what it's worth.
