Al Thasneem Traders, a small, mom-and-pop money exchange store, is convienently located within a mjor shopping mall, and is one of the few money exchange services in the Serangoon / Braddell area. Ambience within Al Thasneem Traders is clean and bright, despite the small floor space, and there is still enough room for several customers to stand within the store, although people still like to queue outside.

The current exchange rates are clearly displayed, and Al Thasneem Traders accepts up to 18 major currencies, more than most other 'small' money exchange services. The friendly family here normally rounds up the exchange to the nearest dollar, which is beneficial for everyone involved. Service is very quick and professional. Their spoken English is eloquent and understandable, which is much better when compared to other money exchanges services as well.

I also like that they have special offers from time to time, if you change a certain bulk amount of Singapore Dollars, you'll get more of the foreign currency. This is a promotion that I've yet to see at other places.
