Description:
Palak Paneer is a simple Punjab dish from North India, consisting of fresh Indian Farmer's Cheese (Paneer), in a thick curry of pureed spinach.

The pureed spinach curry in Palak Paneer is made with spinach, clarified butter (Ghee) and chili. Sometimes, garam masala or powdered cumin is added.

Palak Paneer is accompanied by Indian breads or rice, and is considered a vegetable / vegetarian dish of sorts.

In Singapore, Palak Paneer is thought of as a more exotic dish, and is quite popular / often ordered when dining at Indian restaurants. As such, most places will offer some version of Palak Paneer on the menu.
